When I was young, I filled my sketchbook with drawings of puffy birds with huge, pointy beaks and long legs. I loved drawing thingns feathered and furred, winged and scaled. I loved drawing insects, dinosaurs, dragons, horses, birds…
And I still do.
Puffbird Studio is a single-person creative operation in the Intermountain West. I work in Procreate and Clip Studio Paint to create whimsical illustrations of monsters and animals and people in bold color and black-and-white lines, mimicking a wood-block print technique.
